Four Things Worth Sorting Out First
- Bring the clubs you actually play. Not the backup set, not the ones you keep meaning to sell. The baseline is only useful if it is your real gear.
- Wear golf shoes if you own worn ones. Traction changes lower body movement, which changes strike location. Street shoes shift the numbers slightly.
- Know roughly what you shoot. A handicap or three recent scores is plenty. Nobody is judging; it just changes how we weight dispersion against distance.
- Decide on your one problem shot. The single shot you are tired of hitting tells us more than any other answer on this form.
Fairway wood and hybrid blocks are better in season. Between April and October we hit those off the grass tee out back, which is the only honest way to judge turf interaction. In winter we can still run them indoors, we just tell you what the mat cannot show.
