Long Game

Six Blocks. Start With the One That Is Costing You.

You do not have to buy the whole bag. Most people book one block, fix the club that is actively losing them shots, and come back in a different season for the next one.

Choosing

Pick by Symptom, Not by Club

The most common mistake in booking a fitting is picking the club you like least rather than the club that is doing the damage. A driver you hate but hit six times a round matters less than a three wood you tolerate and hit off the deck on every par five.

If you are not sure, describe the shot you are tired of hitting when you call. Danielle has heard every version of it and will route you correctly, sometimes into a shorter and cheaper block than you were going to book.

Fast Triage

  • Losing balls right off the tee in wind → Driver Block
  • Fine on the tee, dreadful off the deck → Fairway Wood Block
  • Cannot hold a green from 190 → Hybrid Block
  • Distances bunch together in the mid irons → Iron Session
  • Fat or thin from 60 yards in → Wedge Block
  • Consistent start line, wrong speed → Putter Block
A

Driver Block — 60 minutes

Delivered loft, attack angle, spin loft and face contact spread, then head and shaft testing against a headwind carry number rather than a calm-bay best ball. Ends with an adjustable-hosel setting written down so you can reproduce it.

B

Fairway Wood Block — 60 minutes

Turf interaction weighted equally with launch. Off grass from April to October. We watch sole contact, leading-edge behaviour and how the head sits on a tight lie before we ever discuss shaft profile.

C

Hybrid Block — 60 minutes

The honest side-by-side against your existing long irons, run in one sitting so the comparison is not two weeks and two moods apart. Descent angle is the deciding number more often than distance is.

$95
D

Iron Session — 90 minutes

Length, lie and shaft weight through the set, read off impact tape and strike pattern rather than a static measurement alone. Includes set makeup: where your long irons should stop and something else should start.

$185
E

Wedge Block — 60 minutes

Bounce and grind against central Iowa sand and cool-season rough, plus a distance map from full swing down to a half. Groove condition on your current wedges gets checked and reported whether you asked or not.

F

Putter Block — 60 minutes

Length, lie, loft, head weight and hosel style matched to your measured stroke arc and to the green speeds you actually putt on. Head weight against green speed is the change most people have never considered.

Stacking Blocks Saves Time and Money

Booking driver, fairway and hybrid separately costs two hundred and eighty-five dollars and takes three visits. The Long-Game Ladder covers all three in two hours for two hundred and ten, and the gapping between them gets checked as part of it, which separate visits cannot do.

The same logic applies to the Whole Bag day. It is not a discount for its own sake; it is that measuring clubs in relation to each other produces information that measuring them one at a time throws away.

What Every Block Includes

  • A baseline measurement of your current club first
  • One variable changed at a time, never three at once
  • A printed spec sheet you keep, usable anywhere
  • A written recommendation including "change nothing"
  • Half the block fee credited against a build, up to $100
  • A free re-measure inside thirty days of any build

One Block Is Enough to Start

Fix the club that is costing you shots. The rest of the bag will still be there next season.
